What this site collects

timeinusa.net has no accounts, shows no ads, and never asks for personal data. Every clock, sunrise time, and time difference is computed by a small script running on your device, using your browser's built-in time zone database and your device clock, as described on the about page. Nothing you type into the converter leaves your browser.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) and receives your IP address, browser type, the page you view, and the referring page. Google does not log or store IP addresses in Google Analytics 4. The reports we see are aggregated and do not identify individual visitors; we do not combine them with any other data.

To opt out, block cookies for this site in your browser, use a content blocker, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same without it. Google's own handling of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Server requests

Like any website, delivering these files means your browser sends ordinary HTTP requests to the hosting provider, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and requested URL) for security and operations. This site adds no identifiers to those requests, does not use such logs to identify visitors, and receives no tracking data from them.
